| Brian Buckley is a J.D. candidate at the University of San Diego School of Law, anticipating graduation in June 2026. Brian will be graduating near the top of his class and received the CALI award (highest grade) in Bankruptcy, Products Liability, Remedies, Property, and Torts. While in law school, he was also a member of the USD Transactional Law Team and the San Diego Law Review. During his summers in law school, he served as a judicial extern with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California in 2024 and was a summer associate at Morrison Foerster in 2025. Brian discovered an interest in bankruptcy law by researching and writing on the topic of third party releases after Purdue Pharma and through work he did as a summer associate. His interest carried through into the fall of 2025 when he enrolled in a bankruptcy course taught by Professor Mary Jo Wiggins. Brian will return to Morrison & Foerster in the fall of 2026. |
