Elysa Schroeder is a Spring 2026 graduate of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. During law school, she served as President of If/When/How: Lawyering for Reproductive Justice and as the 3L Representative for the Women Law Students Association. In recognition of her leadership and advocacy, Elysa received Loyola’s Lux Legis Award for Outstanding Student Leader.
Elysa was fortunate to study both Secured Transactions (UCC Article 9) and Commercial Transactions (UCC Article 2) under Professor Leonhard, whose teaching sparked her interest in transactional law. She is deeply grateful for Professor Leonhard’s mentorship and instruction. Elysa is currently preparing to sit for the Nevada Bar Exam in July 2026 and will join Pecos Law Group, a family law firm, in the fall.
